14-day free trial, then a subscription key. One server PC, client PCs on the same network, your data stays with you.
Install in three steps
The same installer serves a single PC, a server or a client workstation: you choose at first launch.
Download
Get the installer above (about 240 MB).
Run it as administrator
Windows asks for permission once. Lynara installs with no further questions.
Choose the PC type
At first start: single PC, server or client workstation. You can change it later in Local settings.
Installation: run it as administrator
Right-click the downloaded installer, choose "Run as administrator", and accept the Windows prompt.
Why:
- Windows Firewall rules are created automatically: the other PCs in the office can connect to the server.
- Lynara automatically excludes its folders from Windows Defender scanning: the first startup goes from several minutes to a few seconds, with nothing to type.
- On first launch you choose the role of this PC: single workstation, server or client workstation.
Without administrator rights the installation works, but the first startup is slower and, on a server, you will have to allow Lynara through Windows Firewall by hand.
First sign-in
An account is created the first time Lynara Desktop opens. Sign in with:
